Anza, CA was a hotbed of UFO investigations, especially back in the 1980’s. A paranormal phenomena, a large golden orb or sphere named ‘Goldie’ by the locals, was observed rising from and descending into Cahuilla Mountain on a regular basis. Occasional sightings are still noted.
